Beckwith on Intelligent Design

I do agree that if the ID arguments fail, as a matter of policy, ID should not be taught in science classes as a viable alternative to materialist accounts of the order and nature of things. In fact, even if ID arguments don't obviously fail--that is, if they are merely plausible--there are good policy reasons not to teach it.
